Read this before your first night.
Lunelle Sculpt is a cosmetic device for home use. It is gentle, but LED light and micro-pulses are not right for everyone. Two minutes of reading now saves you trouble later.
Do not use the device if
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have a pacemaker, defibrillator or any implanted electronic device
- You have epilepsy
- You have active skin infections, open wounds, eczema flare-ups or sunburn
- You have had cosmetic injections in the last two weeks, unless your practitioner clears you
- You have skin cancer or any undiagnosed lesion
- You have metal implants or dental work in the treatment area
If you are unsure whether any of these apply to you, ask your doctor before using the device.
Using it safely
- Avoid the eye area entirely, including the eyelids and orbital bone
- Avoid the front of the throat over the thyroid
- Start on level 1 or 2 for three minutes and build up over the first week
- Patch test on the side of your neck before your first full session
- Always use a water-based gel or serum in micro-pulse mode, never an oil
- Stop immediately if you feel burning, stinging or see redness that does not settle within an hour
- Use once a day, in the evening. More is not better
Looking after the device
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use in the bath, the shower or near water
- Do not charge with wet hands, and never use it while charging
- Wipe the head clean with a soft damp cloth after every use, then dry it
- Do not submerge the device or hold it under a tap
- Stop using it if the head is cracked or the cable is damaged
- Charge with the supplied USB cable only
